ART 94124 is pleased to present Contemporary Editions: An Exhibition of Bay Area Printmakers. The group show will feature contemporary works on paper by 19 of the Bay Area’s established and emerging printmakers. The participating artists were selected by noted San Francisco artist, printmaker, and Bayview resident Juan R. Fuentes. The exhibit brings together a wide range of individual approaches and aesthetics that stretch the traditional printmaking medium in new and fresh ways.
Contemporary Editions will feature work from the following printmakers:
David Avery, Alexandra Blum, Linda Lee Boyd, Jessica Dunne, Barbara Foster, Mariana Garibay, Sonya Genel, Art Hazelwood, Summer Makovkin, Fernando Marti, Emmanuel Montoya, Gloria Morales, David Page, Calixto Robles, Faviana Rodriguez, Mario Rosales, Anna Simson, Hilary Williams, Imin Yeh

PANEL | The Printmakers’ Mark | Friday, March 20 | 6-9pm
ART 94124 GALLERY is pleased to host an informal panel discussion on the role and impact of printmakers in today’s society. What has the role of printmakers been in addressing social issues, then and now? How has the computer age impacted traditional and contemporary printing? How do artists feel about digital printing and its impact on today’s print market?
Event begins at 6pm. Acknowledgments, announcements, and the informal panel discussion begins at 7:15pm.
